Tracey Hall won her first art competition at the age of 8 but raising a family has taken up most of her time until recently. Primarily self-taught, she began painting brides’ bouquets as an everlasting wedding memento in 2013.
Tracey specialises in realistic, intricate and detailed artworks of glorious blooms and natural subjects so painting bouquets seemed a natural fit. Immediately the feedback from florists working in the wedding industry was very positive as they saw this service as an alternative to having flowers preserved.
The intricate layers in her paintings create a maze for the eye and capture the viewers’ interest again and again. She works with her clients to create interesting artworks in their own right. Sometimes this may mean focussing on single blooms or part of the bouquet. Tracey works from photographs. They don't have to be professionally taken but they do need to be very close up and in focus. To avoid disappointment feel free to contact Tracey before your wedding day to discuss requirements.
Artworks can be created as oil paintings on canvas which are ready to hang (unframed), or pastel drawings on good quality drawing paper (unframed). Pastel drawings are a more economical choice however by the nature of the medium, give a more impressionist and less detailed effect.
Of course you don't have to be a bride to have a beautiful bespoke artwork. Contact Tracey to discuss your favourite flowers and budget and she can create something gorgeous especially for you. Gift vouchers are available for any amount. An original artwork will make a special gift for anniversaries, birthdays, Mothers Day or Christmas.
